Fall activity has been like a beehive at the Orthman Research Farm this month. As we looked ahead into the 2011 year and with the many requests to study the effects of dry fertilizer applied with a 1tRIPr – we got ‘er in the ground. Brent, BJ, and Warren all got access to our “Mexican machine” we fondly call and applied dry products for the phosphorus needs with some nitrogen. The study is approximately 4.9 acres in size and we’ll track the progress with updates as the year goes along.
