Today the beans dried well so we could get in and harvest the last of our irrigated portion and then what you see in the image is our man harvesting the dryland soybeans. Had one of those mornings when the combine was fussy, you know the drill and when the guys from Deere come out, it does not replicate – grrrrr! Did a quick tap here and a turn there and we are wrapping it up and heading the semi to the elevator. The dryland soybeans are just over 60 bu/acre and we are smiling.

It is our hope that late this afternoon we are in the field cutting corn before the sun goes down today 10/19/2011.
